Joe's Fresh Catch opened Dec 2020, by fisherman Joseph Pomerleau and his wife Angela. They come from Maine from a small fishing village, Port Clyde. Joe had been operating Seafood Markets at Promenade and Coconut Pt. Farmers Market for several years after retiring from being a lobster fisherman for 30 years off the Coast of Maine. Joe's background also included cooking during the off seasons while lobstering, on Monhegan Island.
